She dreamed of acting, but her dreams were interrupted by her marriage to a civilian pilot, but she thought about it again after receiving the title of Miss Egypt, so she began appearing in films...Read more since the mid-50s. She's best known her role opposite Abdel Salam Nabulsi in Ladies Hairdresser. Karima announced her retirement in 1961 after her marriage to the artist Mohamed Fawzy, with whom she lived until his death in 1966. She died in 2005 at the age of 71.
