An Egyptian author and broadcaster, born on August 12, 1923 in the village of Nawa in Qalyubia Governorate. His family was displaced from Morocco, where they settled in this village. He received his primary studies at Al-Nahhasin School in Cairo, then joined the Saidia School in Giza, and obtained his baccalaureate degree in 1940, then obtained a Bachelor of Arts, Department of English Language, from Cairo University. He is a translator and creator of all forms of radio arts. He also presented to the theater a play entitled Egypt Cafe in three acts.
