An Egyptian writer, who graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1963. He worked in the judiciary until he became an advisor at the Court of Alexandria, then resigned and devoted himself to writing. Upper Egypt was a source of topics and issues discussed in his television and cinematic works, including Upper-Egyptian Back & Forth, Stray Light and Devil's Gardens.
