An Egyptian actress, born in Cairo in 1930. Her father was a doctor and wanted her to enroll in the Faculty of Medicine, but she obtained a diploma in commerce and then studied acting at the Acting Institute. She started her career by joining el-Rihani's troupe, then Ismail Yassine's, while her first cinematic roles were in the 1956 films Supplication of the Oppressed, Our Green Land, and Air Devils, then her work continued between cinema and television until the late nineties, as she appeared in Al-Batneyya, Have Mercy on My Love, and The True Promise.
