An Egyptian actor, composer and musician. He started his artistic activity in the thirties, and worked as an actor in several films and composed the score in some of them. Most of the times he presented secondary roles, as he played the waiter and the barman. He's known for Khadra and the Southern Sinbad (1951), Just as Requested (1937) and A Man Between Two Women (1940).
