A Moroccan director and screenwriter, born in Tangier, Morocco. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts in Rabat, then traveled to Paris, France, and studied cinema at the Institut des hautes études cinématographiques in the directing department. His works include The Big Mirror, Lady of Cairo, and Violence of Silence.
