He was one of the first artists who worked on Syrian Arab TV. In 1960, he was appointed to the Ministry of Culture at the National Theater. He traveled to Lebanon, Egypt, and Kuwait and presented his theatrical works with a group of artists. He presented four films in the public sector and twenty-five films in the private sector. He died in 2005. He is known for Five-Star Family (1994), The Volcano (1989), and Abu El Hana's Dreams (1996).
