An Egyptian actor, born in Shebin El-Koum, Menoufia, then moved to Alexandria, where he joined the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, and then graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, to begin his artistic career since the 70s. His debut in the cinema was the movie Watch Out for Zuzu (1972), to then appear in dozens of roles between cinema, theater and television. He's best known for Helmiya Nights, Zizinia and Arabesque.
