Moroccan director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and producer born in 1938. He received his bachelor's degree in film studies from the University of California, US. He continued his studies at Harvard afterwards. He directed several short films including "Cesar's World" and "Maymouna's Dream", and his feature films include "The Other Side of the River".
