An Egyptian producer and director, he presented several films during the millennium. He was married to actress Ghada Abdel Razek, and he produced two films that she starred in: Crisis of Honor (2009) and Ninety Minutes (2006). He's known for City Dogs (1995) and A Bold Heart (2002).
