An Egyptian actress, dancer, director and producer, born in the city of Tanta in 1908, and moved to Cairo in 1918. Her real artistic start on the stage was when she joined the Ramses Troupe after her meeting with Youssef Wahbi in 1924, but she did not last long, then she turned to oriental dancing. Because of her fame as a dancer, she participated in the films Ghost of the Past, and Dr. Farahat. In 1937, she decided to go to film production through her movie Titawong, which she co-directed and written. Years later, she decided to retire from the artistic field completely and devote herself to working in the fields of tourism and trade until her death.
