An Egyptian director, born in 1934. He received a Bachelor of Arts in the Faculty of Arts, Department of French in 1958, and a diploma in film directing from the Institute of Higher Film Studies in France. He has been working on television since 1963. He directed, written and translated a number of films, articles and film studies. Among his artworks are the movie Message from Unknown Woman and Incident of Dishonor. He died on February 2, 1993.
