Singer and composer, born in Damietta, Egypt. He was famous in his beginnings in weddings, and studied at the Music Institute. Then joined the national radio and moved to the official radio in 1934. He performed on the stage the operetta One Thousand and One Nights. He appeared in films such as The Nile Son (1951), Your Day Will Come (1951) and The Fibber (1952).
