An Egyptian director and producer, who was born in Gharbia Governorate in 1939, and graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1962 before obtaining a Bachelor's degree at the Higher Institute of Cinema in 1964. He began his career in television, presenting a number of documentaries, before presenting the two short fiction films The Butterfly and The Back-Tied, which gave him the opportunity to present various cinematic films such as The Barrier (1969), The Innocents (1971) and Me, My Daughter and Love (1972). After the October victory in 1973, Rady began a new step in his career concerned with history and presenting different tales about the war, most notably Sons of Silence (1974), and Life Is a Moment (1978), in addition to The Wall of Heroism (1999). In 1985, he directed the movie The People and the Jinn, starring Adel Emam, in which he presented a new experience for an Egyptian horror movie. His last TV series was Al-Kumy (2001).
