Director Tawfik Saleh presented along over 40 years in the artistic work about seven feature films only, the last of which was the movie The Long Days (1980), which was filmed between Syria and Iraq and which was not shown in Egypt until now. After the director Tawfik Saleh finished his studies at Alexandria University in The Faculty of Arts, he directed Tawfiq al-Hakim’s play A Bullet in the Heart. He is best known for directing the movies We're the Students (1959), Clash of Heroes (1962), and Diaries of a DA in the Countryside (1969).
