An Egyptian actress, dancer, born in 1919 in Cairo. She appeared in about 42 films, and her first appearance was in The Doorman (1935), and the last movie she presented was Brides for Auction (1955). She retired from acting and dancing after her marriage to the athlete and artist Mukhtar Hussein. She died on August 31, 2001, at the age of 82.
