A Syrian actor, born in Damascus. He debuted in 1953 at the El Nasr Theatre. He acted in many television and theatrical works. He was one of the founders of the Free Theater Troupe with Abdel Latif Fathy. He worked in the puppet theater when it was established and participated in many plays presented by the National Theater in Damascus, and on television, he appeared in Hammam Al-Quishani, and Nabiha and Nabhan. He retired from acting later on. He was married and had 5 kids. He died on April 18, 2005.
