Hisham was born in Cairo and studied at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. Upon his graduation he was appointed demonstrator, yet he resigned in 1992 to focus on cinema when the director Hossaam al-Deen Moustafa gave him the leading role in “Gharaam el Afaa’y i.e The Passion of asps” yet it was the television series “ Awaan Al-ward i.e. A Time for flowers” written by Waheed Haamed that hoisted him to the top.
