An Egyptian actor, born in 1920 in Gharbia Governorate. He obtained a diploma at an industrial secondary school, then worked in the maintenance corps in the army, and then moved to live in Al-Hussein neighborhood in Cairo. He began his career through religious theater, then he moved to the National Theater, where he participated in a number of plays, including Return of the Absentee, and Qambiz. In 1952, he made his film debut in Amal, after which his works continued in cinema, theater and on television. Among his most prominent works The Second Wife, Execution of a Dead Man, and Execution Squad. He passed away in 1990 in Cairo.
