An Egyptian director, and a graduate of the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts, Department of Directing and Acting in 1977. He as well graduated from the Higher Cinema Institute, Department of Directing in 1985. In the beginnings, he participated as an actor in several works such as The Night of Fatma's Arrest, before participating as an assistant director in many works. His debut was directing the movie Addicted to Love (2005). He is best known for directing Omar and Salma 2, and Infidelity.
Ahmed Elbadry is a distinguished director with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He has worked with a number of notable directors including the late Hussein Kamal, Gamal Abdel Hamid, Nader Galal, Sherif Arafa, and Mohamed Abdel Aziz. Elbadry graduated from the High Academy of Arts, majoring in performing arts/acting in 1977 and directing in 1985. He began as an assistant director to Mohamed Fadil in "My Children...Thank you" starring Abdel Minim Madbouly. Most of Elbadry's works are true-to-life situational comedies interspersed with musicals. Ebadry's first directorial debut was in the 2003 play "Raya & Sikeena" starring Abdel Minim Madbouly, Nahla Salama, and Maged elMasry. His first major film as director was "Ghawy Hob (Addicted to Love)" starring the singer Mohamed Fouad, Hala Sheeha, Khaled elSawy, and Ramez Galal.
