A director, born on March 15, 1941, in Kafr El Sheikh Governorate. He obtained a BA in Oriental Languages at Ain Shams University in 1963. He formed a successfil duo with the writer Osama Anwar Okasha. He worked as an assistant director on television from 1964 to 1969, then as a director in 1970. He directed many films and television series, the most famous of which were the series Honey and Tears, and Al-Helmiya Nights. He received acclaim for his work and won many awards.
