An Egyptian director, born in Giza Governorate in 1975, graduated from the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science in 1999, then joined the Directing Department at the Higher Institute of Cinema and graduated in 2003 with an honors degree. To study the art of directing at the Academy of Arts in the Italian capital, Rome, he spent a year and a half there and then returned in 2005. He directed the first feature film (Micano) in 2009, and also directed films (Adrenaline, Adam's Homestead, Midnight Party, Out of Service).
