Julia Boutros is a Lebanese singer and actor who was born in Beirut (1968) and studied at the “Rosary Sisters Schools” where she sang in the school choir. When she was 17 years, she sang her most influential song, "Ghaabat shams al-Hakk i.e. The sun of right has been absent". Julia appeared in The Leaves of Bitter Time, a TV series directed by Najdat Anzour. Julia received several national and international awards, including the “Lebanese President's Award”, which was presented to Julia for her contribution, through her voice, to the Lebanese Resistance against the Israeli occupation of Lebanon, shortly after the liberation of the South in May 2000.
