He is an Egyptian actor and theatre director who directed several plays, such as Musa Ibn Nusayr (1983), and The Scandal (1983). He also appeared in several films and TV series, especially the historic and Islamic ones, including Muhammad the Messenger of Allah. He is the father of actor Ahmed Shaker.
