Annemarie Jacir is a Palestinian writer, director, producer, editor and poet . she was born in Bethlehem in 1974, she began working in the field of cinema since 1998 and directed a number of short films, the most famous of which was As If We Are Twenty Impossible , which became in 2003 the first Arab and Palestinian film Short at all, it participates in the Cannes International Film Festival, and won more than 15 international awards, and in 2007 she presented her first feature film (Salt This Sea), which won the Muhr Award for Best Screenplay from the Dubai Film Festival and the International Association of Film Critics Award, and in 2012 Presented her second film (When I Saw You), which participated in the Berlin International Film Festival.
