A Kuwaiti actor who was born in 1961 to a Kuwaiti father and an Egyptian mother. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in acting and directing from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, class of 1986. Immediately after his graduation, he was appointed as a teaching assistant at the institute by the Ministry of Information until he rose to the rank of lecturer and professor at the institute. He became a member of the Popular Theater group in Kuwait and held several administrative positions, such as a member of the board of directors of the People Theater Troupe and its director from 2002 to 2006. He became a member of the board of directors of the Kuwaiti Federation of National Theaters in 2004. He became one of the founders of the Al-Kharafi Festival for theatrical creativity in Kuwait. He is known for The Midwife, The Wolf Man, and Bakhit and Bakhita. He married and had three children.
