An Egyptian filmmaker, born June 27, 1985. He studied TV directing at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Misr University for Science and Technology. He also studied film directing in Art Lab in cooperation with the American University. He initially worked as an assistant director in some Egyptian films and commercials. Then he started his career as an independent director and directed several short films and documentaries. In 2020, he received his MA in Cinematography from Emerson College, Boston, where he won The President's Award for his thesis film "The New Tenant". He's known for The Greatest of Sins, Today's Directors, and Jiffy.
