An Egyptian director who graduated from the Faculty of Commerce in 1978. In 1985, he graduated from the Institute of Dramatic Arts, Department of Directing. He presented several documentaries and then traveled to Saudi Arabia for seven years during which he presented four plays which won him several international awards. He returned to Egypt and presented his debut feature film Coming So Fast (2005).
