An Egyptian director and actor, born in 1949 in Beni Suef Governorate. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts, and worked for a while as an assistant director with El Said Radi, before directing his first play Welcome, Sir (1983). He also participated as an actor in many productions, the first of which was the play The World Is Music (1975). His most prominent work includes A Very Crazy Night, and Age of Power. He passed away in 2003.
