Egyptian writer with a postgraduate degree from the High Institute of Artistic Criticism in Cairo, 1975. He has a lot of critical studies and articles in the field of cinema and also translated the book "The History of Feature Film" (1999), among many other works for the National Center for Translation. He's known for Your Love Is Fire (2004).
