An Iraqi actress born in Iraq. After acting in two plays on El Basra Theater she had to flee to Kuwait at 14 years old after the Iraq-Iran war. She started her career at the 1980s after she was discovered by actress Asmahan Tawfik and became famous for her role on the TV series The Strangers (1984). She is also known for The Fences (1983), and People of Glass (1984) as well as several other works works in TV and theater.
