A Palestinian-Syrian director, born in Damascus. He began working as an assistant director with many of Syria's top directors, such as Hatem Ali and Haitham Hakki. He made his directorial debut in the series Small Projects (2006). After that, many works of his followed and enjoyed great success, most notably Not a Mirage, On the Edge of the Abyss, and Women's Sessions.
