A Syrian novelist and writer, born in Damascus. He received his education there and graduated from its university with a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature in 1968. He worked in the writing division of Syrian TV. He wrote stories and critical and theatrical studies. Among his credits are Hulagu, Crown of Thorns, and Unknown.
