A Jordanian playwright, television writer, and journalist, born in 1947 in the village of Lifta in Jerusalem. He obtained a diploma from the Teachers’ Institute in Huwwara, Irbid, in 1967. He worked as a teacher during the years 1967-1988, and worked for Al Sabaah newspaper, which was published weekly in Jordan and then turned into a daily newspaper. Then he moved to work with Ad-Dustour newspaper in 1975 and assumed the position of the head of the sports section and technical editor. He served as editor-in-chief of Ad-Dustour Sports newspaper since its publication in 1993. He was a member of the administrative body of the Jordanian Writers Association for the years 1978-1979, a member of the Arab Writers Union, and served as Vice President of the Jordanian Media Union in 1998. Among his credits are Blood Brothers (2014), Blue Waves (2014) and Alia's Eyes (2008).
