A Syrian actor, director, and playwright born in 1957. He graduated from the High Institute of Performing Arts in 1980 and worked at the Syrian National Theater from his graduation till his death. He started his career as an actor then began writing and directing. He has won several awards for his writings in Syria and Egypt. He also became a member of the Artists Syndicate in 1982. Some of his credits include A Transient Death, The Revenant, and The Outsider. He died of cancer on 25 June 2012.
