Emirati writer and a pioneer of Gulf cinema. He co-wrote the film Enough, Cruel Sea (1971) directed by Khaled Al Siddiq. He's also written a lot of works for theater, radio and TV. He began his career as a journalist then worked as a writer and producer at Kuwaiti TV and Radio. He then joined the Arab Gulf Theater Company. When he returned to the UAE, he became president of the Sharjah Culture Center, and held many other posts as well in the ministry of Culture and Media. He wrote several plays, radio and TV work , including the play A Story Untold by Scheherazade (1988).
