A Jordanian actor and comedian who graduated from the faculty of Law, Cairo University. His breakthrough was on the variety TV program Amman Nights (1983), where he did impressions of hundreds of celebrities. He then formed a duo with Nabil Sawalha on a variety program of their own and then Amal Dabbas joined them, and the trio starred in several successful plays, specifically political satire. He was famous for imitating senior politicians in the Middle East and the world, such as Gamal Abdel Nasser and Bill Clinton. He has also appeared in several TV series and plays, including Mr. and Mrs. Najati, Hello, Arab Human Rights, and A New Beginning. He had a stroke in 2007 that has had him bedridden ever since. He was awarded the Order of Hussein, second class, from King Abdullah II on 25 May 2013.
