A Syrian director, born in Damascus. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts in Cairo, after which he traveled to Germany, where he completed his studies. He directed many Syrian television productions, including Jamil and Hanaa's Diaries (1997), Mirrors (1982), and The Key (2012).
