Egyptian writer and theater critic born in Cairo in 1941. He obtained a postgraduate degree in criticism from the Academy of Arts in 1965. He wrote several articles in Akher Saa Magazine and had a famous column there. His first play was Some Have It All (1972). Other works of his include Politica, Hello Earth, and Bye Bye London. He died in 2004.
