A Syrian-Kurdish actor, writer, and translator, born in the Syrian city of Manbij, Aleppo. He worked in the university theater in Aleppo as an actor and assistant director. In 1978, he traveled to West Germany to study theatrical sciences at the University of Munich. Then he studied at the Gmelin Institute for Acting in the German city of Ulm. He wrote and directed many plays in the German language in the theaters of Munich and several German, Austrian and Swiss cities. He worked as a director and actor in German-language cinema and television, and in 1999 he returned to Syria, and co-starred in a number of Syrian series such as The Vultures, Iron Door, and Fire Spear. He died on January 3, 2017, at the age of 60, due to a heart attack in the emergency hospital in Sulaymaniyah Governorate.
