A Syrian actor and director, who graduated from the Institute of Arts. His father was director Khaldoun Al Maleh. He enrolled at Emerson College in the United States, and while studying there, he decided to work during the summer vacation with any production company to gain practical experience. He worked as an assistant to Antonio Banderas in his movie Crazy in Alabama, then worked with Meg Ryan followed by Miramax. He returned in the summer of 1998 to work as an assistant director with his father on the series The Camel (1999). He then returned to California and worked as an assistant to director Tim Burton. His acting credits include The Chief (2011), The Salt of Life (2011) and Adham al-Sharqawi (2009).
