Ibrahim Salem is an Emirati actor and director, born in 1963. He studied at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Kuwait in 1984. He is a founding member of the Modern Theater in Sharjah, and a founding member of the Playwrights Association. He worked as a senior director in the Ministry of Information and Culture in the Department of Censorship. He started his theatrical career in 1979 through the school theater with the play Victory of Islam. He won the award for Best Actor three times in the Sharjah Theater Days and the Seventh Gulf Theater Festival. He is best known for the series The Shround, Puzzled Flew S5, and Tamasha.
