An Egyptian actor who was born in 1912. He has worked in cinema since the mid-thirties, and appeared with Shalom in a number of films that he starred in, then formed an artistic duo with the late artist Ali al-Kassar, and acted with him in the films 100 Thousand Pounds, Lend Me 3 Pounds, and The Landlord. He died in 1982 at the age of 70.
