Jordanian actor and writer born on 14 June 1967 in Ajloun, Jordan. He finished high school in 1988 and obtained a BA in Arabic Literature from Yarmouk University in 1994, followed by a MA in Literature and Criticism from the Lebanese University in 2001, then a PhD in Literary Criticism from Cairo in 2008. He held several academic posts at the Ministry of Education (1995-2006) and the Ministry of Culture (2006-2010). He is also a member of the Jordanian Writers Association. His works include the series Remains of Ashes and The Long Road.
