• An Egyptian journalist, translator, actor, and theater director who studied for a while at the Faculty of Commerce, then left and joined the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts. He...Read more traveled on a scientific mission in France and Britain in the early sixties. During his work in Egypt, he presented a large number of international plays in state theaters. He also presented the works of British playwright William Shakespeare in Arabic on the BBC since the seventies. Among his credits are On the Margin of the Prophet's Life, Seven Faces of Truth, Falling in Sabe' Well, and Qasim Amin. He passed away on 7 August 2014, at age 71.
