An Egyptian actress of Lebanese origin. She was born in 1890 in Beirut, Lebanon. Her family moved to Egypt. Her mother worked as a seamstress. She began her life in the theater. She was discovered by the artist George Abiad. From her works: Intricacies of Life and On the Stage of Life. She married an Egyptian businessman of Syrian origin, and was killed in 1944.
