A Syrian actor and writer, who earned a degree in literature and theatrical criticism from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus in 1992. He worked as a correspondent for Alhurra TV channel and Radio Sawa in Damascus between 2004 and 2008, and editor-in-chief of the private Syrian newspaper Addomari between 2000 and 2003. He wrote in many Arabic newspapers and magazines, such as Al-Bayan from the Emirates and As-Safir from Lebanon. He is a member of the Syrian Journalists Union, a member of the Arab Journalists Union, and a member of the founding body of the National Center for Defending Freedom of the Press and Syrian Journalists (Freedom). He is also the director of Dyala Company for Artistic Production and Distribution. Some of his credits are Donia (1999) and Stranger and River (1996).
