An Egyptian theater director. He was born in 1952. He graduated from the English Language Department at the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University in 1974. He then obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Psychology. He has directed more than fifty theatrical plays since 1981. He held the position of Director General of Comedy Theater of the Ministry of Culture (1995 - 2002). He headed the Artistic House of Folklore until his retirement in 2012.
