Jordanian writer, historian, politician, media personality, translator, and researcher with a PhD in Anthropology from Cambridge University in 1982, a MA in Islamic Studies from Cairo University in 1978, and a BA in Geography from Beirut Arab University in 1972. He held several political posts in Jordan as well. He produced and hosted several several political TV programs. He is the first person to write a Bedouin TV drama in Jordan, as he wrote the story for the series Wadha and Ibn Aglan (1975).
