A Palestinian author and poet, born in 1938 in the city of Safed, Palestine. He is a member of the Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists. In addition to poetry, he writes literary articles, musical studies, and radio skits. He has many poetry works, including "Dances of Roses and Madness" and "Hymns of Ashes". He's known for The Man S (2001) and Mazar District (1999). His accolades include winning the Best Lyric Text Award at the Arab Song Festival in Tunisia in 2008.
